I can't get enough of this place. The blackened chicken bow tie pasta is one of the best and most unique meals Columbus has to offer. It's on the pricier side, but you can have it split into two plates for you and another, so it feels like you're getting more bang for your buck.
The service has always been phenomenal and I love the atmosphere inside. I eat there once a week and I don't see that stopping any time soon! -

I've been here quite a few times. But I've only ordered a few items on the menu.
The Venue,: The decor is quite weird. All over the place. Very cluttered. A lot of tables. Various in house sauces available on the table etc. Patio area available but I'm not a fan of the appearance so I've never dined in. Patio furniture sucks anyway.
The service : Not the best service but not time worse. To my understanding is a father and son operated business. The male waiter seemed confused about everyone's order. Long wait. Check your order before you leave
The food: The goto here is the BLACKENED CHICKEN. Anything with it is good. Although I don't like the pasta. The sauce was kinda watery and sweet. So I only get the chicken by itself or the salad.
The jambalaya is gummy and more rice than anything. No meat, just green and red peppers and onions. Tasteless.
The CAJUN FRIED CHICKEN is pretty good. It's not too spicy. Definitely would order again.
The POTATOE WEDGES are HUGE. At least about 3 potatoes. Thick cut. -

Had the blackened chicken pasta and some potato wedges. Good price and good location with late hours allowed for late munching. Tons of desert and drink options too is always a plus. Was visiting from California and was happy with the food and service at nicos

Let me start by stating this was my first time here and probably the last. I look at the menu and ask the man that was at the register if he would recommend something good,he replies hesitantly I like the bowtie pasta (it seems as if that is what everyone gets to give them high stars). I opted for a Cajun Chicken 2 piece and red beans with rice. Placed my order at 1:43pm, someone came in after me and ordered their bowtie pasta meal and he received his food before me but at 2:02 I received my order and the chicken was fried in old grease and had a burnt texture plus flavor. They must have known it was subpar because there were 3 pieces of chicken instead of 2. The 2 stars are for the red beans and rice, that dish was good.

I placed a picked up order and the person who answered the phone was super rude! I ordered blackened chicken bow tie pasta, it was good just could've taken 2 pieces of the chicken out. Overall it was yummy!
